We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse experienced in PACU care for a contract role, providing critical support to patients as they recover from anesthesia after surgical procedures.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a PACU or similar post-anesthesia setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of PACU procedures and protocols
- Ability to monitor, assess, and respond to patients’ evolving needs during post-operative recovery
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- BLS and ACLS certification required
Schedule:

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients emerging from anesthesia, ensuring airway patency, vital sign stability, and overall safety
- Provide rapid assessment and intervention as needed for post-operative complications or adverse reactions
- Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers to facilitate efficient patient recovery and transition to subsequent units or discharge
- Educate patients and their families regarding the recovery process, post-operative care instructions, and medication management
- Accurately document all patient information, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment consistent with best practices and facility protocols
