Registered Nurse - PACU in Daly City, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in post-anesthesia care or surgical recovery settings
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications a plus)
• Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Strong ability to manage post-surgical symptoms and respond rapidly in critical situations
• Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Proficient in collaborating with physicians, anesthesia teams, and other nursing staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor and care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery
• Assess vitals, pain levels, and post-operative complications; intervene promptly as needed
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment in compliance with facility standards
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care instructions
• Accurately document all care provided and patient responses
• Communicate clearly with surgical teams and support effective patient handoffs
