Key Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in post-anesthesia care or surgical recovery settings
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications a plus)
- Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
- Strong ability to manage post-surgical symptoms and respond rapidly in critical situations
- Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Proficient in collaborating with physicians, anesthesia teams, and other nursing staff
Schedule/Hours:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery
- Assess vitals, pain levels, and post-operative complications; intervene promptly as needed
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment in compliance with facility standards
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care instructions
- Accurately document all care provided and patient responses
- Communicate clearly with surgical teams and support effective patient handoffs
