Travel Registered Nurse - PACU (RN) - Derby, KS

Schedule/Hours:

• 5A – 5P
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Prior Pre-Op experience or adaptability to assist preop staff (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-level nursing care in a 9-bed Pre-Op and 5-bed Phase 2 recovery unit
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3 to ensure attentive care
• Oversee pre-op preparation and Phase 2 recovery for urology, GYN, endoscopy, cath lab, and outpatient cases
• Administer infusions, EKGs, pre-surgical blocks, and blood transfusions
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG, Doppler, and more
• Coordinate efficiently with providers and the interdisciplinary team
