Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position; schedule details provided during interview
Responsibilities:
- Perform independent nursing interventions and delegated medical tasks consistent with current standards of practice
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care
- Monitor and document patient status, health data, therapies, and response to treatment according to regulatory guidelines
- Provide patient education and counseling to promote recovery and wellbeing
- Deliver supportive and restorative therapies directly or through supervision and teaching of other healthcare staff
- Collaborate with the medical team; refer patients for additional evaluation as needed
- Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare organization and uphold exemplary service standards
- Float to other departments within scope and respond to on-call needs as required
Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license with eligibility to practice in Colorado
- BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred current)
- Previous experience in PACU or perioperative nursing
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient advocacy skills
- Adaptability and confidence working within multidisciplinary teams
