Schedule/Hours:

• Travel position; schedule details provided during interview

Responsibilities:

• Perform independent nursing interventions and delegated medical tasks consistent with current standards of practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care
• Monitor and document patient status, health data, therapies, and response to treatment according to regulatory guidelines
• Provide patient education and counseling to promote recovery and wellbeing
• Deliver supportive and restorative therapies directly or through supervision and teaching of other healthcare staff
• Collaborate with the medical team; refer patients for additional evaluation as needed
• Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare organization and uphold exemplary service standards
• Float to other departments within scope and respond to on-call needs as required

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license with eligibility to practice in Colorado
• BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred current)
• Previous experience in PACU or perioperative nursing
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient advocacy skills
• Adaptability and confidence working within multidisciplinary teams
