Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a dynamic Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care for patients in the PACU
- Monitor patients' vital signs and pain management needs post-anesthesia
- Collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families regarding postoperative care and discharge instructions
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety procedures, and infection control standards
- Respond swiftly to changes in patient status with sound clinical judgment
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of one year recent PACU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and PACU-specific equipment
