Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a dynamic Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and thrive in a fast-paced setting focused on patient safety and optimal recovery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care for patients in the PACU
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and pain management needs post-anesthesia
  • Collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and their families regarding postoperative care and discharge instructions
  • Adhere to hospital protocols, safety procedures, and infection control standards
  • Respond swiftly to changes in patient status with sound clinical judgment

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of one year recent PACU experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and PACU-specific equipment
