Schedule/Hours:

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Colorado (or compact license)
• At least 2 years of recent PACU or critical care nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong assessment, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of post-anesthesia patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collect and assess ongoing health data; provide health teaching and counseling as needed
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy/treatment for optimal patient outcomes
• Execute delegated medical functions; recognize and act on changes in patients’ condition
• Accurately document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with peers, support hospital values, and promote service excellence
• Float to other departments within your competency as needed
