This travel assignment is tailored for experienced Registered Nurses with strong backgrounds in PACU and PreOp care. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, supporting patients before and after procedures in a setting where each day presents new challenges and learning opportunities.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position with rotating shifts to meet department needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PreOp and PACU nursing care to surgical patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patient vitals and progress
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
- Administer medications and manage IV lines as required
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant protocols
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent PACU/PreOp RN experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and patient advocacy skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
