Required Skills & Experience

• Current, unencumbered RN license (state requirements apply)
• 1+ years of PACU experience strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Monitor and assess post-surgical patients’ recovery and vital signs
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and intervene as needed
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, anesthesiologists, and support staff
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery expectations
