Registered Nurse - PACU in Jackson, KY

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients recovering from surgery in a PACU setting. This contract opportunity allows you to utilize your advanced nursing skills, providing support and monitoring to ensure optimal post-anesthesia outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and manage patients' recovery following surgical procedures and anesthesia
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Recognize signs of complications and respond rapidly with appropriate clinical interventions
• Provide patient and family education regarding post-operative care and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and regulatory requirements at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a PACU RN
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Solid skills in post-anesthesia patient assessment, airway management, and pain control
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
