Travel Registered Nurse - PACU (RN) - Kernersville, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• Travel contract—flexible assignment duration

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric critical care experience (2 years preferred)
• Previous travel nursing assignment completed
• BLS and PALS certification
• Confident with post-op pediatric populations, acuity-based ratios (1:1 or 1:2)
• Experience with ICU-type drips and monitoring
• Resourceful, adaptable, and collaborates effectively in fast-paced, open-bay environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients (and occasional adult cases)
• Monitor telemetry, manage medication administration (including drips like heparin, insulin), and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and ongoing professional development supported by educators and clinical leadership
