Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year pediatric critical care experience (2 years preferred)
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
• BLS and PALS certifications
• Proficiency with telemetry, insulin and heparin gtts, and pediatric post-op best practices
• Comfort with occasional adult patient care based on unit needs
• Familiarity with EPIC, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Philips monitors

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients, with primary assignments of 1:1 or 1:2 based on acuity
• Collaborate in a dynamic, open-bay unit environment, maintaining a team-focused, resourceful approach
• Participate in patient monitoring, medication administration, and care coordination with anesthesia and supportive staff
• Adapt to occasional floating for adult patient care as needed
