This travel assignment offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, academic medical center renowned for its Level 1 Trauma and specialized pediatric care. Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of critical care pediatric experience required (2 years preferred); must have completed at least one previous travel assignment
  • BLS and PALS certifications required
  • Proficient with telemetry, IV medication management (heparin, insulin, cardiac drips), and working within an open bay unit
  • Comfortable with occasional adult patient care based on unit needs
  • Experience with EMR (EPIC), Alaris pumps, Omnicell, and Philips monitors

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional PACU care to pediatric patients across multiple surgical specialties
  • Coordinate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including PACU educators, dedicated charge nurses, transporters, and anesthesia professionals
  • Manage post-op recovery, telemetry monitoring, and collaborate actively in a high-acuity, all-hands-on-deck environment
