Travel Registered Nurse - PACU (RN) - Lexington, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts and hours as assigned; flexibility required for travel assignments

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of critical care pediatric experience required (2 years preferred)
• Previous travel healthcare assignment completed (first-time travelers not considered)
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV Pumps, Omnicell, and Philips monitors
• Skilled in managing high-acuity post-operative pediatric patients, with readiness to manage common ICU gtts
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable with an open bay, fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide post-anesthesia care to primarily pediatric patients, ages 0–17, including both inpatient and outpatient services
• Occasionally care for adult patients as unit needs require
• Monitor telemetry, administer medications, manage patient assessments, and document in EPIC
• Collaborate closely with transporters, HUCs/receptionists, dedicated PACU educator, and a supportive charge nurse
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, maintaining high standards of care in accordance with unit protocols
