Qualifications:

• Active RN license with current BLS and PALS certifications
• Minimum 1 year pediatric critical care experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
• At least one prior travel assignment completed
• Proficient with EPIC EMR, Alaris IVs, Omnicell and Philips monitoring systems
• Adept at managing ICU-like drips (heparin, insulin, cardiac)
• Strong critical thinking, resourcefulness, and teamwork in an open bay PACU setting

Responsibilities:

• Care for pediatric post-anesthesia patients, ranging from infants to adolescents
• Occasional care for adult patients based on unit need
• Monitor telemetry and collaborate closely with anesthesia and multidisciplinary support staff
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and documentation
