Qualifications:
- Active RN license with current BLS and PALS certifications
- Minimum 1 year pediatric critical care experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
- At least one prior travel assignment completed
- Proficient with EPIC EMR, Alaris IVs, Omnicell and Philips monitoring systems
- Adept at managing ICU-like drips (heparin, insulin, cardiac)
- Strong critical thinking, resourcefulness, and teamwork in an open bay PACU setting
Responsibilities:
- Care for pediatric post-anesthesia patients, ranging from infants to adolescents
- Occasional care for adult patients based on unit need
- Monitor telemetry and collaborate closely with anesthesia and multidisciplinary support staff
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and documentation
