Registered Nurse - PACU in Loveland, OH

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in PACU nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communication skills for patient and family interactions
• Comfort with monitoring and supporting patients emerging from anesthesia

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients post-surgery, assessing for changes in status and reacting swiftly to any complications
• Administer prescribed medications and implement pain management protocols
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nursing staff to ensure seamless recovery processes
• Provide detailed discharge instructions and post-op education to patients and families
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation following hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Prioritize patient comfort, safety, and infection control practices at all times
