Qualifications:

• Active RN license (state or compact, as applicable)
• Minimum of one year recent PACU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, post-surgical settings
• Exemplary communication and patient assessment skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and progress post-anesthesia
• Deliver high-quality, recovery-focused nursing care
• Handle emergencies or post-surgical complications decisively
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied health staff
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
