Registered Nurse - PACU (RN) - Marietta, GA

An exciting opportunity is available for skilled Registered Nurses to provide excellent post-anesthesia care in a leading healthcare environment. This contract position plays a key role in ensuring swift and safe recovery for patients following surgical procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

• Three day shift positions: variable start times between 7:00 am and 10:00 am
• One night shift position: variable start between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm

In this role, you’ll monitor and support patients as they transition from the operating room to full recovery, collaborating closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists in a dynamic, patient-centered setting.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Demonstrated experience in a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) setting
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and patient advocacy skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient status and provide ongoing monitoring in the immediate postoperative phase
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and safety protocols
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, intervening appropriately
• Deliver education and support to patients and their families during post-anesthesia recovery
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes with accuracy and attention to detail
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care

This position offers a highly competitive contract rate of $90.46 per hour with no associated fees, providing excellent earning potential for qualified professionals.
