Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) experience
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to handle fast-paced, dynamic situations with composure
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients recovering from anesthesia, monitoring vital signs and overall condition
- Assess patient readiness for discharge or transfer
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and emergencies
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
