Registered Nurse - PACU (RN) - Pawtucket, RI

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least one year of recent clinical experience in a PACU setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong knowledge of post-anesthesia nursing protocols and best practices
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care under pressure
• Proficient in monitoring vital signs, managing airways, and recognizing complications

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures and anesthesia
• Monitor patient vitals, manage pain and nausea, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other multidisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery expectations
• Accurately document all care activities, assessments, and interventions
• Adhere to all safety, privacy, and infection control protocols
