Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Day Shifts: 6a–6:30p, 7a–7:30p, 8a–8:30p
  • Evening Shifts: 9a–9:30p, 10a–10:30p, 11a–11:30p
  • Every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday as needed
  • No call; flexibility to float to Moakley PACU if required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license plus BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum 2+ years recent PACU experience, including strong competency in Phase 1 recovery for high acuity cases
  • Required pediatric PACU experience and proficiency in cardiac monitoring/telemetry rhythm strip interpretation (must pass telemetry test at 84%+ on day 1)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert post-anesthesia care for a range of cases: trauma, peds, orthopedic, cardiac cath, neuro, interventional radiology, and more
  • Manage 30–60 cases/day within a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week operational unit
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and flex to pediatric assignments as needed
