Key Qualifications:
- Active RN licensure (unencumbered)
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a PACU setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills
- Proficiency in rapid response and emergency interventions
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, ensuring safety and comfort
- Assess vital signs, level of consciousness, and pain management needs
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Educate patients and families about post-operative care and expectations
- Document care provided and patient responses in medical records
- Communicate changes in patient status promptly to the healthcare team
- Maintain a high standard of infection control and safety practices
This position offers a weekly pay range of $2300 to $2650, recognizing your experience and commitment to high-quality care.
