Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent PACU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to post-anesthesia patients, monitoring recovery and vital signs
• Collaborate closely with surgical, anesthesia, and ancillary teams to ensure a safe transition from OR to recovery
• Educate patients and families about post-operative expectations and discharge instructions
• Document care activities accurately and promptly in electronic medical records
• Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition, using clinical judgment and protocols
