Registered Nurse - PACU (RN) - Stone Mountain, Georgia

Schedule/Hours:

• 3 day shift positions with variable start times between 7am and 10am
• 1 night shift position available, with shift starting between 7pm and 9pm

This role allows you to utilize your skills in caring for patients as they transition from anesthesia to full consciousness, ensuring safe recovery and monitoring for potential complications.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in PACU or critical care setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented unit

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess post-anesthesia patients for stability and signs of complications
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Administer medications, pain control, and postoperative care as directed
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nursing staff
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all healthcare protocols

You will be compensated at the competitive rate of $90.46 per hour, with no additional fees deducted.
