Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent nursing experience in a PACU or critical care environment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated assessment and monitoring skills with post-anesthesia patients
• Knowledgeable in post-operative pain and symptom management
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proven attention to detail and critical thinking

Role Responsibilities:

• Safely monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia
• Recognize and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and fellow nurses for coordinated patient care
• Administer medications and manage IVs as prescribed
• Document patient progress and post-operative care activities accurately
• Educate patients and families about post-surgical care and next steps
• Adhere to facility safety, privacy, and infection control protocols
