Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year pediatric critical care experience required, 2 years preferred
• At least one completed travel assignment (first-time travelers not accepted)
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Expertise in managing ICU-level gtts (e.g., heparin, insulin, some cardiac)
• Resourceful, collaborative team player with strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care primarily for patients aged 0–17, with occasional adult cases as needed
• Work in an “all hands on deck” open bay unit, including telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesia, PACU educators, and supportive administration
• Maintain accurate records in EPIC EMR and manage medication/IV equipment (Alaris pumps, Omnicell)
