Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year pediatric critical care experience required, 2 years preferred
- At least one completed travel assignment (first-time travelers not accepted)
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- Expertise in managing ICU-level gtts (e.g., heparin, insulin, some cardiac)
- Resourceful, collaborative team player with strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care primarily for patients aged 0–17, with occasional adult cases as needed
- Work in an “all hands on deck” open bay unit, including telemetry monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesia, PACU educators, and supportive administration
- Maintain accurate records in EPIC EMR and manage medication/IV equipment (Alaris pumps, Omnicell)
