Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license, eligible to practice in NY state
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and PreOp settings
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced surgical environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert, compassionate care to patients in PreOp and PACU units
• Monitor post-anesthesia recovery, vital signs, and ensure safe transitions
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary surgical teams
• Deliver patient education and support for surgical procedures and recovery
• Maintain meticulous records, uphold safety standards, and contribute to a positive patient experience
