Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery, providing rapid intervention if complications arise.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and pain management appropriately according to patient needs and physician orders.
  • Thoroughly document post-operative care assessment findings, interventions, and progress in medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and patients’ families to share vital updates and care plans.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive recovery space in compliance with established protocols.
  • Educate patients and families on post-surgical care instructions as they prepare for discharge or transfer.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in good standing.
  • Previous experience in PACU nursing with demonstrated knowledge of post-anesthesia patient care.
  • Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-focused environment.

$1,935 - $2,040/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
