Hospital Registered Nurse - PACU | Warwick, Rhode Island

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Proven experience in PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) environments
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (required)
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and rapid response skills
• Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and team members
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, acute care situations
• Strong attention to patient safety and infection control protocols

Responsibilities:

• Closely monitor patient status during post-anesthesia recovery
• Administer prescribed medications and manage pain control
• Identify, document, and communicate changes in patient condition
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, anesthesia providers, and other nurses
• Educate patients and families about post-procedure care and discharge instructions
• Ensure accurate documentation throughout the recovery process
• Adhere to all established policies, regulations, and care standards
