Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New York, or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year recent PACU RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Exceptional communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide vigilant post-anesthesia nursing care, monitoring patients’ recovery and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as needed
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery expectations
• Document interventions and communicate effectively with physicians and surgical staff
• Uphold evidence-based practices, ensuring safe transitions from operating room to recovery
