Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Demonstrated experience in PACU or post-anesthesia care
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, paying close attention to vital signs and physical responses
- Assess for pain, complications, and post-operative symptoms, intervening appropriately when necessary
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, with careful documentation
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the broader care team to ensure safe, coordinated care
- Educate patients and families regarding post-operative recovery and at-home care instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records following regulatory standards
- Uphold a sterile, safe, and supportive PACU environment

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
