Hospital Registered Nurse - PACU | West Chester, Ohio

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Recent experience in PACU or demonstrated proficiency in nursing care for post-anesthesia patients
• Strong assessment and monitoring skills for post-operative patients
• Ability to manage critical and emergent situations with calm expertise
• Proficient documentation and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
• Adaptability to workflow in a contract setting

Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ status during post-anesthesia recovery
• Monitor vital signs, pain, consciousness, and any potential complications
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in a timely, safe manner
• Educate patients and families on post-procedural care and discharge instructions
• Collaborate closely with surgical, anesthesia, and recovery teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond rapidly to code situations and escalate care when necessary
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-equipped workspaces

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
