This opening offers an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical expertise on a busy pre-op unit, featuring 9 pre-op beds and 5 phase 2 recovery beds. You’ll collaborate closely with an experienced, tight-knit team, learning from diverse nursing practices and dynamic leadership approaches. Exposure to a range of surgical and procedural specialties, including urology, Gynecology, and outpatient infusions, will strengthen your resume and broaden your skill set.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year recent acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience required
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications
- Effective team communication and prioritization of patient experience
- Preferred: Pre-op experience, Meditech EMR familiarity
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients preparing for a variety of surgical and outpatient procedures
- Support phase 2 recovery for Urology, GYN, and SDS patients
- Assist with outpatient infusions, EKGs, blood transfusions, and blocks
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient preparation and recovery
- Utilize modern equipment including Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG, Doppler, and bladder scanner
