This travel assignment in a dynamic Pre-Op Holding / Ambulatory Surgery Unit presents the chance to work alongside a seasoned team, utilizing modern equipment including Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machines, Doppler, and Meditech EMR. With 9 pre-op beds and 5 phase 2 recovery beds, you’ll gain valuable exposure to a variety of patient cases, including pre-op and post-op care, endoscopy, cath lab procedures, and outpatient infusions.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day Shifts: 5A – 5P
• On-call required, 30-minute response time when on-call

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1-year acute care pre-op RN hospital experience
• Active BLS & ACLS certifications
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient-centered care
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Experience with preop environments highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pre-op and phase 2 recovery care for surgical and procedural patients
• Perform and monitor outpatient infusions, EKGs, and blood transfusions
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary staff and providers
• Utilize advanced medical technology for optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
