• 5A - 5P shifts

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license with minimum 1 year of current acute care Pre-Op hospital experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Candidates with prior Meditech experience and the ability to assist pre-op staff are strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pre-operative preparations for surgical, endoscopy, cath lab, EP, CT, outpatient infusion, and other specialty patients
• Provide Phase 2 recovery care for Urology, GYN, and various surgical day-stay patients
• Perform tasks such as outpatient EKGs, blocks, blood transfusions, and patient monitoring using Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machines, doppler, bladder scanner, and patient scales
• Maintain a 1:3 RN-to-patient ratio for optimal care and safety
• Efficiently document assessments and interventions in Meditech EMR system
• Respond to on-call requirements with a 30-minute response time as needed
