Work in a 30-bed recovery unit utilizing advanced technology and evidence-based practices. As part of a multidisciplinary surgical team, you’ll collaborate with experienced charge nurses and a dedicated floor staff, learning new approaches to patient care and leadership. This assignment will broaden your clinical expertise and strengthen your resume, setting you apart in the nursing field.

Schedule/Hours:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• On-call requirement with a 30-minute response time

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care hospital PACU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Adaptability for flexible scheduling and various shifts
• Experience with Meditech EMR (preferred)
• Calm demeanor and prioritization of patient experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to contribute positively to team culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to diverse populations
• Manage patient monitoring and rapid recovery protocols for procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries
• Communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Uphold high standards of safety and respect established policies on patient ratios and guidelines
