• Flexible travel contract hours

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent critical care pediatric experience (2 years preferred)
• At least one completed travel assignment
• Strong teamwork and open communication skills
• Ability to manage common ICU infusions (heparin, insulin, cardiac drips)
• Competence in telemetry monitoring
• Experience with EPIC, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell dispensing, Philips monitors

Responsibilities:

• Deliver recovery care to pediatric patients post-surgery across all specialties except cardiac
• Provide close patient assessments—ratios typically 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity
• Collaborate closely in an open-bay unit environment; be resourceful and supportive to colleagues
• Safely monitor post-op statuses, including limited adult care based on unit needs
• Utilize department support: educators, dedicated charge nurses, HUCs, and transporters
• Document with accuracy in EPIC and manage medications using Omnicell systems
