Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license and current BLS, PALS certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of critical care experience in pediatrics; 2 years preferred.
- Must have completed at least one travel assignment—first-time travelers cannot be considered.
- Comfort caring for pediatric patients (ages 0–17); experience occasionally supporting adults a plus.
- Strong teamwork mindset, self-motivated, resourceful, and committed to best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients across a broad range of surgical specialties.
- Manage telemetry and commonly used drips seen in the ICU (e.g., heparin, insulin).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, incorporating input from educators, transporters, and 24/7 anesthesia support.
- Maintain strong communication in an open-bay, fast-paced environment.
