Working in a high-acuity environment with 885 licensed beds and Level 1 Trauma Designation, you’ll collaborate with top-tier healthcare professionals and gain hands-on experience with a diverse pediatric population (ages 0–17) across a range of surgical subspecialties (excluding cardiac surgery). This role provides exposure to progressive leadership, innovative care practices, and advanced medical technologies — all within a supportive, team-oriented PACU setting.

- Full-time travel contract
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license; BLS and PALS required
- Minimum 1 year of critical care pediatrics experience; 2 years preferred
- At least one completed travel assignment (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Able to manage common ICU gtts (e.g., heparin, insulin, select cardiac drips)
- Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and collaborative, open-bay unit dynamics
- Proficient with EPIC, Alaris, Omnicell, and Philips monitors
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused post-anesthesia care for pediatric inpatients and outpatients
- Implement continuous telemetry monitoring and medication administration
- Work collaboratively in a unit where patient acuity dictates ratios (1:1 or 1:2)
- Float as needed, occasionally providing care for adult patients
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with educators, transporters, and support staff
- Uphold best practices in patient safety and compassionate communication
