Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of critical care pediatric nursing experience (2 years preferred)
• At least one completed travel nursing assignment
• Certifications: BLS, PALS
• Proficient with heparin, insulin, and selected cardiac IV drips
• Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and working in an open bay, team-based environment
• Experience with EMR (EPIC), IV pumps (Alaris), and med dispensing (Omnicell)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a patient load primarily consisting of pediatric surgical patients, with occasional adult care based on unit need
• Deliver safe, evidence-based recovery and post-anesthesia care in a 20-bay PACU
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including unit educators, dedicated charge nurses, and anesthesia support
• Independently monitor telemetry and administer complex medications
• Adapt to unit needs, engage with leadership, and actively participate in professional development
