Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts as assigned according to department needs

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • BLS and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year pediatric critical care experience (2 years preferred)
  • At least one completed travel assignment
  • Experience with post-op care, telemetry monitoring, and titrating drips commonly seen in ICU settings
  • Familiarity with EPIC, Alaris, and Omnicell preferred
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative in an open-bay, team-first environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate care to pediatric (0–17) post-op patients; occasional adult care as needed
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient condition using advanced technology
  • Titrate drips and manage post-op pain/complications
  • Collaborate with PACU educators, charge RNs, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in safe patient transport and continuous unit-wide support
