Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • No call required

Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • At least one year of recent experience in a pediatric or newborn nursery setting strongly preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive care to newborns in the nursery, monitoring vital signs and responding to any changes
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Educate and support new parents, ensuring they understand newborn care routines and hospital policies
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
