Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license required
- Minimum of one year recent pediatric nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Current BLS certification (PALS preferred)
- Strong assessment and clinical skills in pediatric care
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with pediatricians and healthcare professionals to adjust care plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on health management, care processes, and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status
- Promote a child-friendly, supportive environment to ease anxiety and foster healing
