Schedule/Hours

• Shift: 7p–7a
• Weekend rotation: every other
• No on-call requirement
• Travelers work 75% of holidays
• Six-week schedule cycle

Qualifications/Skills

• Active RN licensure with minimum 1 year in pediatric hem/oncology (PHO) or acute pediatrics (PA)
• BLS required; PALS preferred
• Strong pediatric assessment, critical thinking, central line management, and chemotherapy administration skills
• Experience with adolescent medicine, sickle cell, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, or behavioral/mental health overlay cases strongly valued
• EMR proficiency (Epic preferred), Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell dispensing

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, family-centered care for a 1:4-5 patient ratio
• Respond to acute pediatric and complex hem/onc diagnoses
• Float as needed between PA, PHO, and select units (excluding Peds ED)
• Coordinate with CNAs, HUCs, phlebotomy, RT, hospitalist, and intensivist teams
• Engage in departmental orientation and continuous education
