As a travel pediatric RN, you will work within a major academic medical center recognized for its Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Centers. This is an exceptional opportunity to engage with diverse case profiles—ranging from leukemia and solid tumors to cystic fibrosis and adolescent medicine—broadening your skill set while collaborating with expert multidisciplinary teams. Working in a supportive, education-focused, and team-centered environment, you’ll experience leadership and care philosophies from across the spectrum of modern pediatric nursing.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts, 7p-7a
- Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
- Weekend rotation: every other
- No on-call required
- Expectation to work 75% of holidays

Preferred Qualifications:
- RN license, Pediatric specialization
- Minimum 1 year in pediatric acute care or pediatric hem/oncology
- BLS required, PALS preferred
- Strong background for first-time travelers
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in central line management and chemo administration
- Advanced pediatric assessment and critical thinking
- Familiarity with EPIC, Alaris IV Pumps, Omnicell dispensing
Core Responsibilities:
- Care for pediatric patients with conditions such as leukemia, sickle cell, diabetes, and more
- Manage 1:4-5 patient ratios in collaboration with multidisciplinary support (CNAs, phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, hospitalist, and intensivists)
- Serve both on Pediatric Hem/Oncology and general adolescent medicine units, floating as needed
