Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts: 7a–7p, every 6 weeks schedule cycle
• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
• Holiday expectation: 75% of holidays
• No on-call requirements

Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and BLS certification; APHON chemo certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience in pediatric hem/oncology
• Strong pediatric assessment, central line management, and chemo administration skills
• Epic EMR proficiency, Alaris IV pump, and Omnicell med dispensing familiarity
• First-time travelers welcomed with a robust pediatric background

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care to pediatric hem/oncology and adolescent medicine patients
• Manage patients with complex diagnoses such as leukemia, sickle cell crisis, tumors, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, and behavioral health overlays
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3–4 (hem/oncology) or 1:4–5 (adolescent medicine)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including CNAs, phlebotomy, hospitalists, and intensivists
• Float between PA, PHO, and other pediatric units as needed
