This Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU features 15 beds and a dedicated staff of 38, ensuring a supportive setting and a strong focus on quality patient care. With day and night shifts staffed by intensivists, RNs, respiratory therapists, and case management, you’ll work with a 2:1 patient ratio, providing valuable one-on-one care. Exposure to Meditech/CPN EMR systems, cutting-edge monitoring equipment, and diverse case complexities will expand your nursing skillset.

Schedule/Hours:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU RN experience
• Current BLS & PALS certifications (required)
• CRRT experience, APHON certification, or previous work in a pediatric teaching hospital (preferred)
• Adaptability, poise under pressure, and a strong patient care philosophy

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level critical care to pediatric patients in a Level II Trauma environment
• Perform procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
• Collaborate closely with intensivists, multidisciplinary teams, and families
• Contribute to a culture of safety, excellence, and continued learning
