Travel Registered Nurse - PICU (RN) in Andover, KS

Schedule/Hours:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (day shifts)

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum one year of current acute care hospital experience in a Pediatric ICU (PICU)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Adaptability and confidence in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment
• Strong prioritization, teamwork, and communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• CRRT proficiency
• APHON certification
• Background in pediatric teaching hospitals

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional, compassionate nursing care for critically ill pediatric patients within a 15-bed PICU
• Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio, ensuring attentive monitoring and individualized care
• Perform common PICU procedures: IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
• Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, case management, and other specialists
• Utilize Meditech/CPN for electronic documentation and patient management

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
