Essential Qualifications

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of recent acute care PICU experience
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Strong candidates possess CRRT experience, APHON credentials, or prior experience in a pediatric teaching hospital
• Ability to excel under pressure and embrace a patient-centered approach

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a 15-bed unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including intensivists, respiratory therapists, and case managers
• Utilize Meditech/CPN for comprehensive electronic medical records management
• Initiate and manage IV starts, blood draws, TPT placements, and other advanced procedures
• Uphold hospital and unit-specific guidelines, contributing to a supportive and high-acuity care environment
