Travel Registered Nurse - PICU (RN) - Andover, KS

Professionally, this position provides the chance to work within a Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU. Exposure to a dynamic, multidisciplinary team fosters professional growth as you collaborate with expert intensivists, experienced RNs, and diverse allied healthcare professionals. You'll observe and contribute to varied care models and strengthen your nursing expertise within a respected pediatric unit, adding valuable experience and skills to your resume.

Schedule:

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year recent acute care hospital PICU experience
• Current BLS & PALS certifications
• Adaptable, strong in patient care, and able to work well under pressure
• Preferred: CRRT experience, APHON certification, or background in a pediatric teaching hospital

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, family-centered nursing care to critically ill children in a 15-bed pediatric ICU
• Perform and assist with procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
• Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and case managers to coordinate patient care
• Utilize Meditech EMR to document and manage patient information effectively
• Maintain excellent communication and professionalism in a collaborative environment
