This travel nursing assignment in a leading Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) allows you to immerse yourself in a dynamic, Level II Trauma pediatric setting. The 15-bed unit is staffed by a dedicated multidisciplinary team, offering you unparalleled opportunities to collaborate with experienced intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals. You'll work with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and the Meditech/CPN EMR system — a great addition to your professional toolkit.

Exposure to varied workplace practices, strong clinical leadership, and the nurturing atmosphere of a pediatric teaching hospital will help you grow clinically and professionally. Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • At least 1 year of current acute care hospital experience in the PICU
  • BLS and PALS certifications

Preferred Experience:

  • CRRT experience
  • APHON certification
  • Teaching hospital experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for pediatric patients in a Level II Trauma PICU
  • Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
  • Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio for optimal care
  • Document care using Meditech/CPN EMR
