A leading healthcare facility in southern Idaho seeks experienced Registered Nurses to fill important roles within its PICU department for a 13-week travel assignment. Required Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year of recent PICU experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (active and current)
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Reliable and adaptable to changing patient needs and unit priorities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with complex medical needs
  • Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond promptly to any changes
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Administer medications, manage advanced equipment, and carry out treatment plans
  • Deliver compassionate family-centered support and education
  • Accurately document patient status and care provided in compliance with facility regulations and standards

Schedule:

  • 13-week travel contract
