Registered Nurse - PICU (RN) in Caldwell, ID

A hospital in Southern Idaho seeks a skilled Registered Nurse with PICU experience to join their dedicated care team for a 13-week contract assignment. Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• At least one year of recent experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and families
• Desire to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the PICU, monitoring for changes and responding to emergencies
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Communicate clearly with families, supporting them through challenging situations
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
• Advocate for patients’ best interests while working closely with the multidisciplinary team
