Advance your nursing career in a dynamic, high-acuity environment caring for pediatric patients within a specialized Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Multiple contract positions are available for skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses committed to delivering excellent care to critically ill children.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Options available: 3 x 12-hour or 4 x 12-hour shifts
  • Day Shifts: 07:00 – 19:30
  • Night Shifts: 19:00 – 07:30
  • 13-week assignment with flexible scheduling for optimal work-life balance

Qualifications:

  • Active NC or Compact Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a PICU setting
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications
  • Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
  • Open to first-time travelers and local applicants (within 75 miles)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care for infants and children with complex, life-threatening conditions
  • Monitor and interpret clinical data, administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Deliver patient and family education and emotional support
  • Maintain accurate patient records and participate in clinical rounds

$3,124 - $3,101/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 48 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
