Registered Nurse - PICU (RN) in Chapel Hill, NC

Schedule Options:

• 4x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
• 4x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• 3x12-hour travelers are also accepted

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent PICU nursing experience required
• Active NC or Compact RN license at the time of application
• Certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
• Candidates residing locally (within 75 miles) are accepted
• First-time contract nurses are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill pediatric patients in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to monitor, assess, and respond to patient needs
• Administer medications, interventions, and support therapies as directed
• Communicate clearly with patients’ families about care plans and provide education when appropriate
• Maintain precise documentation and follow facility policies and procedures to optimize safety and patient outcomes

$3,124 - $3,101/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 48 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
