Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a clinical background in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. This opportunity is ideal for a nurse who thrives in high-acuity environments, exhibits excellent critical thinking skills, and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of critically ill patients.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in PICU and/or ICU settings
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records and technology in patient care
  • Adaptable to fast-paced and evolving clinical situations

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in critical care settings
  • Monitor, assess, and report on patient condition, responding swiftly to changes
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and patient safety standards
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes

$2,149 - $2,274/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
