Professionally, this role places you within a Level II Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting. With a 15-bed unit and a dynamic staff, you will collaborate with a dedicated team featuring Intensivists, Respiratory Therapists, and multidisciplinary support. This environment allows you to observe and learn from different leadership styles and workplace methodologies, boosting your clinical knowledge and enhancing your adaptability. Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum one year of recent acute care hospital PICU RN experience
• Current BLS & PALS certifications

Preferred Experience:

• CRRT familiarity
• APHON credentials
• Pediatric teaching hospital background

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert, compassionate care to critically ill pediatric patients, prioritizing their unique needs
• Skillfully manage IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
• Monitor patient status using advanced CR technologies and EMR systems (Meditech / CPN)
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams during both routine care and high-pressure situations
• Uphold best practices in accordance with hospital, unit, and evidence-based guidelines
